Team India’s New jersey . Global sportswear brand adidas has shared the first look of Team India’s new jersey for all formats of the game. The sportswear giant shared a glimpse of the jersey on social media. Team India fans are eagerly waiting for the new kit design.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) partnered with Adidas in May as the kit sponsor for India’s men’s and women’s cricket teams. On Thursday, adidas India shared a picture of the Indian cricket team’s shirt on Instagram. With this the first look of the Test, ODI and T20I kits were unveiled.

Unveiling the jersey, Adidas showed a glimpse of the Wankhede Stadium and wrote – “An iconic moment. An iconic stadium. Introducing Team India’s new jersey.” While the test kit featured 3-stripes on the shoulder of the white shirt, one of the white-ball kits featured a darker shade of blue. This jersey is getting great response.

The jersey of all the three formats is visible in this video. The Test jersey is white in color with the name of India written in blue. Also, there are three stripes of blue color on both sides of the shoulder. There are three stripes of blue color on the right side of the chest, which are in increasing order from bottom to top. Whereas, the ODI and T20 jerseys are blue. One jersey is of dark blue color and the other is of light colour. However, it has not been told which of these jerseys is for ODI and which is for T20.
Before adidas, Killer Jeans and before that MPL was the official jersey sponsor of the Indian team. Adidas has become the kit sponsor of the Indian cricket team till 2028. For this, Adidas will have to pay Rs 75 lakh to BCCI for every match. Adidas will make the jerseys for India’s men’s, women’s and under-19 teams.
Apart from the Indian team jerseys, Adidas will also be selling caps and other items. For this contract Adidas will give Rs 10 crore to BCCI every year. Along with the announcement of the new jersey of the Indian team, Adidas has said that you can buy this jersey at the adidas store. The Indian team will play the final of the World Test Championship and ODI World Cup 2023 wearing this jersey.
